Best Quarantine TV

What are the best Quarantine TV shows I’m watching right now? The hands-down winner was Chernobyl recently. That was an amazing tightly paced mini-series. Before then, I, like everyone else alive, started following Game of Thrones and that disappointed me.

Spoilers for people living in a cave without contact with the outside world – the ending was LAME. Unlike everyone else, I did read all five books before I watched a single episode of the show. There were certain book parts that were so long that I did forget what happened, and the show did a good job of condensing that into a more palatable chunk. I admit there are still chapters from the book I still don’t understand.

After watching the first couple of seasons, I got my husband into it around season 5. I did tape him watching the Red Wedding because that’s what you do when you love someone and potentially want to embarrass them on Youtube. He was quite surprised, but he did not throw things at the screen. Or yell. It was a little bit disappointing honestly.

We also watched the first season of Star Trek Discovery which arguably is a runner up for one of best quarantine TV shows I’m watching right now. I am gonna get to the second season eventually. Very pretty CGI effects but sort of uneven. The Season 1 Finale didn’t even have a space battle! What? It’s Star Trek – blow some sh!t up! Now that CBS decided to make the Star Trek the next the Marvel Universe, you can watch Discovery, Short Tracks, Lower Decks, and Picard. Whether it’s worth my time remains to be seen. Also, who wants to subscribe to CBS All Access? I have the first season of Killing Eve too from the now closed library.

Or maybe I should ignore all of that and go read a book.
