Least Accurate Medical TV Shows
Least Accurate Medical TV shows?
Diagnosis: Grey's Anatomy and House
Have you ever been watching a medical TV show and wondered what are the most and least accurate medical shows? Here’s my commentary on what does and doesn’t qualify as accurate medical TV from an actual doctor. I’ll be doing plenty of TV show review later.

It’s a toss up honestly between Grey’s Anatomy and House M.D. Surgeons do every single job in the Seattle Grace, Seattle Grace Mercy West, Grey Sloan Memorial. There are no ER doctors, radiologists, nurses, lab techs- all surgeons all the time. Surgeons stay upstairs in the OR. They don’t deliver babies, perform autopsies, ride in ambulances, steal hearts, or put in their own IVs. House gave one person four specialties, and his team regularly went to people’s houses. No doctor is stopping by anyone’s house to go through their trash to find out they were exposed to a bacteria from a secret cock-fighting ring downstairs. I’m not joking. Really. So there are tons of different physician specialties, tons of support staff, and hospitals frown on people leaving their place of employment midday.

Surgical interns don’t know how to perform autopsies. NO. NO. NO.
